On Wednesday, a website and a Twitter account were opened to announce that the manga Otonari ni Ginga by Gido Amagakure will receive an anime adaptation in 2023.

Ryuichi Kimura will direct this TV project, while Gigaemon Ichikawa will be in charge of composition and script supervision. Fuyuka Ōtaki will be responsible for adapting Gido Amagakure's original character designs for the anime. In addition to the staff, the first names of the voice actors were also announced. They are Taku Yashiro, who will play the role of Ichiro, and Yū Wakui as Shiori.

Since the death of his father, Ichiro Kuga has been struggling to support his two younger siblings with a small inheritance and his passion for drawing manga. But it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with his growing responsibilities and deadlines, especially after his last two assistants quit to follow their dreams. Just as he reaches his limit, the beautiful and frighteningly competent Shiori Goshiki applies to be his new assistant. But Goshiki has something almost otherworldly about her, and soon Kuga's reality is turned upside down when she suddenly declares that they are engaged and will marry!
