TV Asahi has revealed details about its latest original anime project, "Our Rainy Protocol" (Bokura no Ameiro Protocol), which is set to be released in October.

The voice cast for "Our Rainy Protocol" includes Kensho Ono as Shun Tokinoya, a 17-year-old boy living with his mother and younger sister. Sora Amamiya will play the role of Yū Saegusa, a new and popular actress. Inori Minase voices Nozomi Inazuki, Shun's childhood friend who is one year older than him, while Momo Asakura voices Mio Tokinoya, Shun's younger sister. Finally, Ryohei Kimura lends his voice to the character Akito Sendō, Shun's classmate and childhood friend.

The central plot of the anime revolves around the world of e-sports. Shun Tokinoya, a second-year high school student, begins working at the e-sports café FOX ONE after the accidental death of his father. However, it soon becomes apparent that FOX ONE is deeply in debt. To pay off these debts, Shun and his friends participate in the "Xaxxerion Championship" tournament and attempt to win the prize money.

The original work is credited to Team KITSUNE. Yasutaka Yamamoto, known for his work across various genres, serves as the chief director, while Daishi Kato directs the series at animation studio Quad. Kotsukotsu contributed the original story draft, while Katsuhiko Takayama and Yamamoto are responsible for the series' scripts.

The original character designs are by Booota, and Kanna Hirayama adapts these designs for animation. The film's music is composed by Satoru Kousaki and MONACA.
