"Overtake," the latest project by Kadokawa and Troyca, has finally been unveiled to the public. The release included a teaser image, a trailer, and details about the cast and crew. Although the project had been announced earlier, there had been few details until now. Fans were thrilled to learn that Katsuyuki Konishi and Anan Furuya would be voicing the main characters, Koya Madoka and Haruka Asahina.





The story revolves around Koya, a professional photographer whose career has taken a severe hit, and Haruka, a determined high school student who races and insists on doing it alone. Koya witnesses Haruka's driving skills at an F4 race he is covering for work and feels newly inspired by the excitement. He decides to support Haruka and her small team at Komaki Motors to fulfill their racing dreams. Though they come from different backgrounds and are at different stages in life, their paths soon cross.


Part of the project's core team: Original concept by KADOKAWA × TROYCA, directed by Ei Aoki (known for "Fate/Zero," "The Garden of Sinners: Overlooking View," and "Aldnoah.Zero"), series composition by Ayumi Sekine, supervised by Katsuhiko Takayama, original character designs by Takako Shimura, and character designs by Masako Matsumoto. With such a talented team behind it, "Overtake" is a must-watch for anime fans.
