At the beginning of the episode, the Oyama 10K Run is announced, a local event sponsored by Fuji Speedway. Komaki Motors is invited to participate, and while Futoshi Komaki, the team owner, is enthusiastic, Haruka Asahina initially refuses. However, to the surprise of his teammates and friends, he eventually agrees.

The Belsorriso drivers Harunaga Satsuki and Tokumaru Toshiki also take part in the event. Haruka's girlfriend Alice, a Belsorriso grid girl, also joins the race. As the race begins, Futoshi provides commentary, and the participants start from Gotemba Station.

Kotarou Komaki, Futoshi's son, struggles early on and considers giving up. Meanwhile, Alice and Haruka talk about their motivations and the challenges they face in their respective roles. Satsuki and Tokumaru lead the race, closely followed by Haruka.

During the race, refreshments are offered at a water station, but the choices—hot tea and dried wheat gluten snacks—prompt many runners to quit. Despite these setbacks, Haruka, Satsuki, and Tokumaru remain in the lead.

As they approach the final stretch, Haruka is cheered on by Koya Madoka, who gifts him a pair of running shoes. With this boost, Haruka catches up to Satsuki and Tokumaru. They cross the finish line together as a trio.

The episode concludes with the award ceremony. Haruka wins an eel as a prize, Satsuki receives Muscat grapes, and Futoshi, who didn't even participate, is awarded the grand prize—a black marbled Wagyu beef.
