Platinum End Anime reveals October start in first trailer

The first trailer for the highly anticipated fall 2021 series, Platinum End, has been released on the series' official YouTube channel. The video announces that the anime will have an uninterrupted run of 24 episodes to adapt the entire story of the manga, while also revealing additional staff members.



Hideya Takahashi (SNAFU, Sword Art Online, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) will direct the first series. Kazuchika Kise (Ghost in the Shell Arise, Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) will direct the "second series." Hideyasu Narita is working on art design, and Ayumi Ikeda serves as color key artist. Yūsuke Ueno (IMAGICA Entertainment Media Service) is handling editing. Masahiro Tokuda (DECA-DENCE, Cestvs: The Roman Fighter) is composing the music.

Miyu Irino will voice the protagonist Mirai Kakehashi. His work includes prominent roles such as Shōya Ishida in "A Silent Voice," Haku in "Spirited Away," and most recently as Koshi Sugawara in "Haikyuu!" Yui Ogura will voice the angel Nasse. Ogura is widely known for her role as Vanica in the hit Weekly Shonen Jump series Black Clover.

Just when it seemed the god candidates might reach an agreement, one of them is suddenly murdered. Now, Professor Yoneda appears to have control over the entire god selection process.
