The Pokémon Company has released a Japanese promotional video for the upcoming anime "Pokémon Horizons: The Series." The series will premiere on April 14 with a one-hour special.

The series features a star-studded cast, including Minori Suzuki as Liko, Yuka Terasaki as Roy, Taku Yashiro as Peace, and Ikue Ōtani as Captain Pikachu. Other unique characters working alongside their Pokémon include Ayane Sakura as Orio, Kenta Miyake as Murdock, Kei Shindou as Molly, and many more.

The theme song for the new anime, "Dokimeki Diary," is performed by asmi featuring chinozo. Saori Den directs the series, Daiki Tomiyasu serves as Creative Director, and Dai Sato is in charge of the scripts. The production team also includes Tetsuo Yajima as Action Director, Rei Yamazaki as Character Designer, and Kyōko Itō as Sub-Character Designer. Pokémon Horizons: The Series will feature characters and Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. The story follows the new characters Friede and Captain Pikachu, a Pokémon professor and partner duo who will fight alongside the protagonists Liko and Roy.
