Kadokawa announced on Monday that a TV anime of Miko Yasu's Police in a Pod (Hakozume: Kōban Joshi no Gyakushū) manga will premiere in 2022. The official website also revealed the main staff, cast, a teaser visual, and a teaser promotional video.

Yuzo Sato (Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge anime film) is directing the series, while Ryunosuke Kingetsu (Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero) is composing the series, and Kei Tsuchiya (Laidbackers) serves as character designer.
