Following "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle," the new production "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" from Studio Ghibli will make its debut this fall.
"Ponyo – The Great Adventure by the Sea" tells the story of a little goldfish girl who wishes for nothing more than to become a real human. The fact that she actually manages to transform into a human thanks to her magical abilities displeases her father—an underwater sorcerer—more than she initially realizes. Together with her friend Sosuke, she escapes from the colorful underwater world. Over time, the fish girl grows more determined to stay with Sosuke, but the closer their friendship becomes, the wilder the coastal natural forces seem to grow, unleashed by Ponyo's powers.
Will the two friends succeed in restoring the ocean's forces to their usual order and thus rebalance the world?
For the German dubbing, voices were provided by Alina Freund, Nick Romeo Reimann, Anja Kling, and Christian Tramitz, among others. You can find the current trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M12OWkhr8ac
