A new video has been released for "CHIMNEY TOWN: Frozen in Time" (Japanese original title: "Eiga Entotsu-machi no Poupelle: Yakusoku no Tokeidai"), the sequel to the anime film "Poupelle of Chimney Town". The clip serves as a travel guide to the "Millennial Fortress", the central world of the second part.

The "Millennial Fortress" is a mysterious otherworld that controls time across the entire world. In the sequel, the protagonist Rubitchi ends up there after a rat steals his precious bracelet. Rubitchi had previously actually given up hope of seeing his friend, the garbage man Poupelle, again.

The guide video explains the structure and function of the fortress. Among the locations introduced are the "Hora Hall", where the life clocks from all over the world converge, the "City of Watchmakers", the "Market Street" with its restaurants, the "Hermit Crab Hotel" reminiscent of a giant hermit crab, as well as the symbolic "Clock Tower" of the fortress.

The fantasy film continues the events of the first part and shows how Rubitchi reunites with his friend Poupelle. Yusuke Hirota again directs at Studio 4°C, with the screenplay by creator Akihiro Nishino. The main roles feature Yuzuna Nagase as Rubitchi and Masataka Kubota as Poupelle. The film opens in Japanese theaters on March 27, 2026.
