The website for the anime Spy x Family has been updated with a new promotional trailer. The video, which is just over one and a half minutes long, introduces the new story arc that the anime series will enter with the broadcast of the second part, premiering with episode 13 on October 1, 2022, and concluding the season with a total of 25 episodes. The trailer also includes a preview of the new opening song titled "SOUVENIR," performed by the Japanese band BUMP OF CHICKEN.



The first part of the anime premiered on April 9 and consisted of 12 episodes.

For years, the countries of Westalis and Ostania have been engaged in a cold war, where espionage and assassinations are the order of the day. The unparalleled spy Twilight is Westalis' top agent, determined to take on the powerful Donovan Desmond. The problem is that Desmond is an antisocial recluse whose only public appearances are his son's school events. Twilight needs to get close enough to the target to thwart his secret plans.
