"Promise of Wizard" - Southern Land character video released

The latest character video for the anime adaptation of Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku (Promise of Wizard) introduces the "Southern Country," marking the fifth and final part of a series of country-specific character introductions released over the past five weeks. This video features the wizards of the Southern Country: Rutile, Figaro, Lennox, and Michiru. The voice cast includes Shunichi Toki as Rutile, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Figaro, Yuichi Hose as Lennox, and Ayumu Murase as Michiru.

The anime, set to premiere in January 2025, is based on the popular smartphone game of the same name. The story follows Akira Maki, a human summoned into a world where humans and wizards coexist. Together with the wizards, Akira battles the threatening "Great Calamity," a massive entity symbolized by a giant moon. The anime depicts Akira's efforts to unite the worlds of wizards and humans through these challenges.
