Psycho-Pass Providence is set to premiere on May 12. Naoyoshi Shiotani will direct the film at Production I.G, with TOHO handling distribution. Series writer Makoto Fukami returns as screenwriter, collaborating with Tow Ubukata, who joined the franchise in Psycho-Pass 2. Ubukata is also responsible for the film's composition. Naoyuki Onda will return as character designer and chief animation director. The film is based on the original Psycho-Pass anime by Gen Urobuchi.
