Hiling is desperately trying to reach her son Daida, who is trapped within the kingdom's borders due to Miranjo's treacherous schemes. Faced with the fact that a direct attack on Bosse could have catastrophic consequences, Hiling decides to recruit allies for her cause.

The search for allies leads Hiling and Dorshe to an unexpected reunion with Ann, a warrior with whom Hiling once traveled. The catch, however, is that Ann is currently busy defending a village against bandits who are after the placer gold. Hiling sees this as an opportunity to secure a powerful ally and decides to help Ann fend off the bandits.

Despite Dorshe's cautious instincts, the trio decides to launch a surprise attack on the bandit stronghold to catch them off guard while they are still asleep. The ensuing confrontation showcases the combat skills of our heroes, with Hiling even displaying her impressive magical abilities to an astonished audience. They successfully force the bandits to pledge to protect the village instead of plundering it.
