The story begins in the underworld, where Desha and Despa, Ouken's brothers, are searching for a demon who can lift the immortality curse placed upon Ouken. The situation escalates when Fren, the deputy commander of the Underworld Order, expresses his desire to assist in the search, thereby violating the law that confines monsters to the underworld.

Despite the prohibition, Fren recklessly flees the underworld, drawing the wrath of the kingdom, which orders his execution for breaking the law. The news of Fren's actions sends shockwaves through his comrades, leaving them unsettled and uncertain about his seemingly drastic decision. Meanwhile, Fren's friends devise a plan to save him, enlisting the help of Prince Despa, though he hesitates.

As the story progresses, Fren and his friends encounter a group of bandits, leading to an action-packed sequence that drives the plot forward. Meanwhile, Fren finds himself in the Kingdom of Bosse, searching for a woman said to have suffered the demon's curse, as she may be the only clue that could save Ouken.

Upon his return, Fren decides to take responsibility for his actions and face punishment. However, in an unexpected turn of events, he is spared from execution when it is claimed that the "real" Fren has already been executed. The "imposter" Fren is then banished from the underworld's cities, allowing him to continue his mission on the surface.

The episode concludes with a flashback showing an intimate moment between the young Prince Bojji and a soldier named Hokuro. Having both experienced the loss of their mothers, their shared grief brings them closer and solidifies Hokuro's motivation to protect Bojji.
