Ranma 1/2 (2024) - Episode 3

Ranma wakes from a nightmare in which Kuno confesses his love for his female form, leaving him unsettled. At school, Akane continues to struggle with the daily challenges posed by the male students vying for her attention, venting her frustration about men. Kuno attempts to give a gift to the "enchanting pigtailed girl," unaware that she is Ranma's female version. Nabiki takes advantage of Kuno's infatuation by selling him photos of Ranma as a girl.

Ranma confronts Kuno and tries to dissuade him by hinting that the pigtailed girl "belongs" to Ranma. Kuno misunderstands, seeing Ranma as a rival, and challenges him to a duel. During the fight, Ranma defeats Kuno but gets injured.

Seeking medical help, Ranma goes with Akane to Dr. Tofu's clinic. There, it becomes clear that while Akane has feelings for Dr. Tofu, he is actually in love with her older sister Kasumi. This realization leaves Akane dejected. When Ranma notices her mood, he tries to cheer her up by training with her and complimenting her smile, which briefly lifts her spirits.

The episode ends with subtle hints of a developing bond between Ranma and Akane, despite their frequent disagreements.
