Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out Anime Movie Trailer Revealed

AnimeJapan 2023 unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming anime film project based on Hajime Kamoshida's Seishun Buta Yarō light novel series. The first of the two projects, "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out," is set to premiere in Japan on June 23. The anime continuation project adapts the eighth and ninth novels of the franchise, including "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out" and "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid."

Sōichi Masui returns as director at CloverWorks, Masahiro Yokotani is once again in charge of composition and scripts, and Satomi Tamura is the character designer. The cast members from previous projects, including Kaito Ishikawa, Asami Seto, Yurika Kubo, Nao Tōyama, Atsumi Tanezaki, Maaya Uchida, and Inori Minase, will reprise their roles.
The Seishun Buta Yarō light novel series previously inspired a TV anime titled "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai," which aired in Japan for 13 episodes in October 2018. Additionally, the anime film "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl," adapting the sixth and seventh volumes of the light novel, was released in Japan in June 2019.
