Beatrice employs powerful spells using magic crystals, while Felt intervenes with a mysterious artifact. The fight is interrupted when Rui Arneb, another bearer of the Authority of Gluttony, appears. Rui reveals that Felt does not know her "true name" and withdraws with Lye after warning the group against further conflicts.

Subaru and Emilia return to the main events and find their allies injured but alive. Beatrice, saved by a magic crystal procured by Al, explains her exhaustion. The group discusses the rescued city, with Anastasia emphasizing that their victory was achieved through shared strategies.

Sirius, the captured Sin Archbishop, is interrogated. She insists on her obsession with Subaru and warns of the intentions of Gluttony ("Gourmand, Foul Feeding, Satiation"). Although she provides no concrete information, the alliance decides to take her to the capital to gain insights into the Witch Cult. Reinhard takes charge of the escort, supported by Felt.

Emilia proposes saving the victims mutilated by Capella's dragon blood by placing them in cryogenic sleep within ice to buy time for a cure. Priscilla initially doubts the plan but accepts it after Liliana's emphatic support. The victims are frozen as the search for a solution begins.

The city of Priestella is officially declared liberated. Subaru reflects on the partial success—the rescue of the children Lusbel and Tina—while Ricardo humorously downplays the loss of his arm. A decisive shock follows when Julius, whose name and identity were erased by Gluttony, is no longer recognized by Subaru and Emilia.
