Kadokawa recently announced that the light novel series "Rebuild World" by Nahuse will receive a TV anime adaptation. The news was revealed during a promo video panel at Anime Expo.

In addition to the announcement, Kadokawa unveiled a visual for the upcoming anime in Japan, accompanied by two celebratory illustrations by Gin, the novel's illustrator, and Kirihito Ayamura, the manga artist. Further details about the project are expected during Dengeki Bunko's 30th anniversary event, taking place on July 15 and 16.

The story of "Rebuild World" is set in a post-apocalyptic scenario where the peak of human civilization is a thing of the past, and society and science struggle to rebuild. This backdrop serves as a hunting ground for ancient artifacts, referred to as relics of the "Old World," which promise wealth but also pose deadly threats due to ancient security systems and bio-weapons. At the center of the story is Akira, a street orphan who aspires to become a relic hunter to escape his harsh reality. His fate takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Alpha, a mysterious ghostly woman who needs a hunter and offers to train Akira.

The series, illustrated by Gin, yish, and cell, was first published in 2017 on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, with the final chapter released in 2021. Kadokawa began publishing the series in print in 2019, and since July 2019, Kirihito Ayamura has been handling the manga adaptation.
