Record of Ragnarok II releases third promo video and launches April 14th

The official Twitter account of Record of Ragnarok II, the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga Record of Ragnarok (Shūmatsu no Walküre) by Shinya Umemura, Ajichika, and Takumi Fukui, has released the third promotional video for the first part of the anime. The video features Masatoshi Ono's theme song "Inori" (Prayer). The first part of Record of Ragnarok II will air on Japanese television on April 14.



Director Masao Ookubo returns for the second season, collaborating with Graphinica and Yumeta Company. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Yuka Yamada are in charge of the series composition, while Masaki Satō designs the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music, and Yasunori Ebina directed the sound.

The first season of the anime, which revolves around the ultimate battle between gods and humans, known as "Ragnarök," was released worldwide on Netflix in June 2021. The manga "Shūmatsu no Walküre" was published in the Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017. Umemura wrote the story, Ajichika handled the artwork, and Fukui was responsible for the composition.
