Record of Ragnarok II: Trailer for the second part shows celestial battles

The saga of divine battles continues in the second part of "Record of Ragnarok II," for which Warner Bros. has released a new trailer. The trailer highlights the clash between Buddha and Zerofuku and sets the tone for the anime with the opening theme "Rude, Loose Dance" by Minami.



The release of episodes 11-15 of the anime is scheduled for July 12 on Netflix. The anime's cast has been expanded with Tetsu Inada as Hajun, Ryotaro Okiayu as Hades, and Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub.

The anime journey began on Netflix with the first 10 episodes, which premiered on January 26. After that, the first part of the second season aired on Japanese television on April 14.

The production team for the second season includes Masao Ookubo, who returns to the director's chair, while the project is led by Graphinica and Yumeta Company. The series composition is handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu alongside Yuka Yamada, while the characters are designed by Masaki Satō. The musical score is composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, and the sound direction is managed by Yasunori Ebina.

The anime revolves around a heavenly conference where all the gods decide the fate of humanity. In a surprising twist, the Valkyrie Brunhilde proposes a tournament—"Ragnarok"—a one-on-one battle between the gods and humanity's finest. If humanity manages to secure 7 out of 13 victories, they can avert their supposed demise. It's a daunting task, but the Valkyries rise to the challenge and select 13 impressive human champions to represent humanity in the fight against the divine beings.
