Record of Ragnarok II will be released on January 26th

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 has revealed a new trailer as well as the official premiere date for the first 10 episodes. The new season will consist of 15 episodes, with the first ten premiering on Netflix on January 26, while the remaining five episodes will be released later in 2023.



Record of Ragnarok is based on a manga written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The manga has been serialized in the monthly Comic Zenon magazine by Coamix since 2017. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as follows:

The Valkyrie Brunhilde has convinced the gods to give humanity a chance at redemption through a battle in the Valhalla Arena. Seeking a swift end to the process, the gods present their first fighter, Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Facing him is a warrior regarded as the strongest in human history: the legendary general Lü Bu!
