Record of Ragnarok III: New fight scenes and voice actors announced

For the third season of Shūmatsu no Walküre (English: Record of Ragnarok), the first visual and acoustic insights were presented. A key visual as well as a new presentation video provide information about upcoming battles of the gods against humanity.

The key visual shows the opponents of the seventh to ninth encounters within the fateful duel "Ragnarök". The depiction captures the tension between the divine and human fighters. The presentation video focuses on the seventh battle, in which both sides have so far achieved three victories. Scenes of the confrontation between the Chinese ruler Qin Shi Huang (human side) and the underworld god Hades (divine side) are shown. Additionally, still images of the eighth and ninth duels were released.

Four new voice actors join the ensemble:

- Shin Furukawa as Nikola Tesla (human fighter, 8th battle)

- Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub (divine fighter, 8th battle)

- Hiroshi Shirokuma as King Leonidas (human fighter, 9th battle)

- Kenichi Suzumura as Apollon (divine fighter, 9th battle)

The plot is based on the manga by Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika. In thirteen individual battles, the fate of humanity is decided. The production is handled by Graphinica under the direction of Masao Ōkubo.
