The upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series "Reign of the Seven Spellblades" by Bokuto Uno recently released its second trailer with English subtitles. The trailer not only showcases the plot and aesthetics of the anime but also features an enticing soundtrack. The opening song "Kenka" by Kujira Yumemi feat. Mimizuku and Fukurō sets the tone for the anime. Additionally, the trailer announces the title song "Aimu," also sung by Kujira Yumemi in collaboration with Tsumushachi, and reveals the anime's release date: July 7.

The cast includes Atsushi Tamaru, Yuka Nukui, Misuzu Yamada, Hitomi Ohwada, and many others, who will bring a host of dynamic characters to life.

The production of the series is handled by J.C. Staff, under the capable direction of Masato Matsune. Shogo Yasukawa is in charge of the series' scripts, while Sōta Suwa designs the characters. The anime's musical score is composed by Kujira Yumemi.

As for the plot, the anime takes us to Kimberly Magic Academy in spring, the time when new students begin their academic journey. The story follows a young man named Oliver, who enters this prestigious school with his white staff and sword. To overcome the unforeseen challenges the school presents, Oliver must form an alliance with the katana-wielding girl Nanao.

The original light novel series was launched by Uno in September 2018, with illustrations by Ruria Miyuki. The series gained immense popularity and was ranked first in the Takarajimasha guide "This Light Novel Is Amazing!" for 2020.
