The anticipation for the upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series "Reign of the Seven Spellblades" by Bokuto Uno is growing. In a recent announcement, six new cast members were revealed, joining the talented ensemble, accompanied by a commemorative illustration drawn by light novel illustrator Ruria Miyuki.

The new additions to the cast include Shōya Chiba as Richard Andrews, Ai Kayano as Ophelia Salvadori, Kazutomi Yamamoto as Carlos Whitrow, Satoshi Hino as Alvin Godfrey, Ai Kakuma as Vera Miligan, and Atsushi Imaruoka as Cyrus Rivermoore. These actors join previously announced cast members such as Atsushi Tamaru, Yuka Nukui, Misuzu Yamada, Hitomi Ohwada, Riho Sugiyama, and Shinsuke Sugawara.

Reign of the Seven Spellblades is set to premiere in July and is being directed by Masato Matsune, known for his work on Chronos Ruler, at the renowned J.C. Staff studio. The series composition is in the capable hands of Shogo Yasukawa, while Sōta Suwa designs the characters and Kujira Yumemi composes the music.

The story takes place at Kimberly Magic Academy, where first-year students arrive in the spring. The protagonist, Oliver, befriends a katana-wielding girl named Nanao as they navigate the dangers of their magical education.
