The popular light novel series "Reign of the Seven Spellblades" by Bokuto Uno is getting an anime adaptation, and the staff have revealed the first promotional video, key visual, main cast, crew, and the planned July premiere date.



The anime's story follows Oliver Horn, a young man who arrives in the spring at Kimberly Magic Academy, a prestigious school for magic users. Oliver wears a black robe, carries a white cane, and wields a sword. To survive the dangers, he must team up with Nanao Hibiya, a skilled girl who swings a katana. The story is full of action, magic, and peril.

The main cast of the anime has also been announced: Atsushi Tamaru as Oliver Horn, Yuka Nukui as Nanao Hibiya, Misuzu Yamada as Michela McFarlane, Hitomi Ohwada as Katie Aalto, Riho Sugiyama as Pete Reston, and Shinsuke Sugawara as Guy Greenwood. The anime is directed by Masato Matsune and animated by J.C. Staff. Shogo Yasukawa is in charge of series composition, Sōta Suwa handles character design, and Kujira Yumemi composes the music.
