Released concept video for Yanmar Holdings original anime project Miru

The machine manufacturer Yanmar Holdings has released a concept video for its original anime project titled "Miru." This took place on July 1 and was simultaneously showcased at the Yanmar booth at Anime Expo, where a large statue of the project's main robot was also displayed.



On July 3, the Miru team held a panel discussion at Anime Expo, providing some insights into the project's development. Interestingly, the team expressed its intention to deviate from existing conventions for hero robots in the design of the main mecha. Regarding the story, the staff revealed that there will be no traditional villain, hero, or conflict.

The multinational team, with members from Japan and the United States, is also considering collaboration with individuals from Europe. However, the staff clarified that it is still too early to make announcements regarding the format or medium in which the project will be released.
