“Re:Monster” anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2024

The anime adaptation of "Re:Monster," based on the novel by Kanekiru Kogitsune, is set to premiere in April 2024. The announcement, made on December 7, 2023, comes with the reveal of additional cast members, key staff, and the first promotional video.

"Re:Monster" is a fantasy story that follows a protagonist who, after being fatally stabbed by a stalker, is reborn as the weakest goblin in a parallel world. The story explores his extraordinary growth, where he gains strength by consuming anything he ingests and quickly rises to the top of the goblin community. In the anime adaptation produced by Studio Deen, Takuya Sato voices the main character, Gobro.

Additional cast members include Kenta Hosoda as Gobki, Ai Kakuma as Gobmi, and Kana Ueda as Gobe, all goblins who evolve alongside Gobro. Mai Kanno voices a short-haired redhead, a human who fights alongside Gobro's group. The first video, featuring the voices of these characters, offers a glimpse into their survival in a harsh world where only the strongest can prevail.

The anime is directed by Takayuki Inagaki, with Hiroshi Yamaguchi handling series composition and Junichi Takaoka serving as the character designer.
