The production of a second season of the anime series Re:Monster (jap. Rī Monsutā) has been officially announced. A first key visual shows the further evolved protagonist Goburō, now known as Aporō, with a royal aura together with the key character Princess Rubilia from the first season.

The plot of the series is based on a novel by Kanki Kiko and follows the hero Goburō, who is reborn as a weak goblin after his murder. In a world dominated by strength, he uses his unique ability to gain power by eating other beings to survive.
