The fourth season of the anime adaptation of Rent-a-Girlfriend (Original: Miyajima Reiji) features a new key visual depicting the main character Chizuru Mizuhara in a romantic scene. The visual, released as the first part of a series of "date images," shows Chizuru smiling on a bench at a train station while holding cherry blossom petals in her hand. Beside her stands a suitcase, hinting at the plot of the upcoming season, in which the characters take a trip to the Hawaiians theme park in Fukushima.

Since the first season, the series has used such visuals to depict the relationship dynamics between the characters. The continuation will once again focus on the complicated emotions and developments of the characters, with the trip to Fukushima promising new conflicts and emotional moments.

Voice actress Amamiya Sora (Chizuru Mizuhara) expressed her excitement about the continuation: "It's not a given that a series gets a fourth season! I love Rent-a-Girlfriend and am happy that the story reaches and touches so many people—and that even more viewers will discover it."

The fourth season of Rent-a-Girlfriend will air in two parts starting July 2025 and adapts the Hawaiians arc, which presents new challenges for the characters' relationships.
