Rent a Girlfriend Season 3 - Episode 1

The first episode of Season 3 of Rent-a-Girlfriend begins with a bath scene for Chizuru. After this quiet moment, the series picks up where it left off in the previous season: Kazuya suggests to Chizuru that they make a movie. The reason for this project is to fulfill Chizuru's wish of seeing her sick grandmother on the big screen before her time runs out. Chizuru takes the lead role, while Kazuya acts as the producer, tasked with organizing crowdfunding efforts and gathering the necessary staff for the project.

The episode introduces a new character, a freshman named Mini Yaemori, who is enrolled at the same university as Kazuya and Chizuru. Additionally, Mini has just moved into the apartment next to theirs. Mini makes her presence known right away and asks Kazuya and Chizuru to keep their balcony interactions quiet. However, when she learns that Kazuya is her classmate, her attitude toward him shifts to a more respectful tone.

Later in the story, Chizuru visits Kazuya in his apartment to discuss the crowdfunding strategy for their movie. Previously, they would have had this conversation on the balcony, but due to Mini's presence, the meeting location has changed. The shift in location raises questions about soundproofing, as Kazuya's apartment shares a wall with Mini's. Nevertheless, they continue their planning indoors.

During this meeting, Kazuya seems to handle himself surprisingly well in Chizuru's company, considering his notorious difficulties in dealing with girls, especially Chizuru. They manage to finalize their crowdfunding plans, and the episode ends on a positive note.
