Revival of "Grendizer U" paves the way for new adventures

The TV anime "Grendizer U," based on the original work by Go Nagai, will begin airing in July on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo. It is a reboot of the classic anime "UFO Robot Grendizer" from 1975-1977.

The second PV provides an overview of these new additions and features a version of the opening theme "Decisive Blow" by GLAY. Mitsuo Fukuda, known for his work on "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" and "Future GPX Cyber Formula," is leading the reboot as Chief Director. The character design is headed by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, known for "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Summer Wars," while the soundtrack is composed by Kohei Tanaka, acclaimed for his work on "ONE PIECE" and the "Sakura Wars" series. The animation production is handled by GAINA, promising a blend of nostalgic elements and modern twists.
