"Rock Wa Shukujo no Tashinami Deshite" - character visual and preview videos unveiled

The TV animation Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami deshite, based on the original work by Hiroshi Fukuda, is launching a series of "Character Gap Visuals" and accompanying preview videos highlighting the contrasts of its characters. The first of these releases, unveiled on February 20, focuses on Ririsa Suzunomiya.

Ririsa was once a passionate rock musician with a love for the guitar before adapting to the etiquette of a refined lady. The published character image clearly shows this contrast: On one hand, she appears elegant in a school uniform look with a violin, while on the other, she fiercely strums her electric guitar with power.

The preview video begins with scenes from her daily life as a proper student. However, as the clip progresses, the atmosphere changes drastically as her suppressed emotions come to the surface, and she fully embraces her love for rock music once again.

Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami deshite tells the story of a student who gave up her former passion for rock music to conform to the expectations of a refined lady. But one day, when she sees Otoha playing the drums with full energy, her old enthusiasm is reignited.

The youth music anime will premiere in April and air nationwide in Japan.
