The manga series "Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami deshite" by Hiroshi Fukuda will be adapted into a TV anime in 2025.
The manga, currently serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), tells the story of Ririsa Suzunomiya, who becomes the daughter of a real estate magnate after her mother's remarriage. To adapt to her new aristocratic life, she gives up her guitar and suppresses her emotions, leading to a restrictive existence. So far, four volumes of the manga have been released, with the fifth volume set to be published on July 29.
To celebrate the announcement of the anime adaptation, Fukuda shared a congratulatory illustration featuring Ririsa, Otoha, and other main characters, accompanied by the message "祝アニメ化!!! (Congratulations on the anime adaptation!!). Further details about the anime will be revealed in future updates.
