A new main visual and the second trailer have been released for the TV anime "Romelia Senki" (internationally: Romelia War Chronicle). Both were presented as part of an advance screening followed by a cast talk. The main visual shows Romelia at the head of the so-called "Rometai": the group around the protagonist has raised their weapons against the enemy against a blue sky – an image that emphasizes the series' combative direction.
The second trailer sheds light on the time after the victory over the Demon King and shows how Romelia and her companions go into battle for the people. After returning to her home province, she finds indifference there – and a land that continues to suffer even after the victory under the remaining demons and the aftermath of the war. Romelia decides to assert herself with her true strengths: trade, negotiating skill, finance, and information gathering. With these means, she builds her own army to protect the population and drive reconstruction forward.
The broadcast is planned for two cours, roughly half a year. It starts on October 5, 2026, on TOKYO MX, BS11, and Sun TV each Monday at 11:30 p.m., on KBS Kyoto at 12:00 a.m.; CBC follows on October 10 with a later time slot. Two days before the TV start, on October 3 at 9:00 p.m. Japan time, the first episodes will appear on Anime Times, U-NEXT, and Netflix – there exclusively for Japan and ahead of the terrestrial broadcast. Internationally, Crunchyroll will show the series close to the Japanese premiere.
The production team includes director Kōji Saitō, who succeeds Hiroshi Shirai in this role, as well as assistant director Takahiro Hirata and writer and series composer Aya Satsuki.
