RTL II launches its own online presence for children / www.pokito.de goes

live on June 1, 2005

Munich (ots) - Since November 2004, RTL II has been presenting "Pokito"

as its own label for all anime, comix, and Kids WB! fans. Alongside

successful series like "Yu-Gi-Oh!", "Pokémon," "Detective Conan,"

"Teen Titans," "One Piece," or "Xiaolin Showdown," the daily

TV magazine POKITO TV with its host Daniel Lerche is a fixed

part of the program. Here, children and teenagers have their

own forum to participate, speak up, and co-decide; here, they get

all the news and trends from the Pokito scene!

Starting June 1, 2005, RTL II will expand the popular kids'

label with its own internet presence. At www.pokito.de, visitors

dive into the colorful, imaginative Pokito world. There,

they will find the latest info on TV programming, event dates,

interesting news from around the world, downloads, wallpapers,

photo galleries, sounds, as well as episode guides and videos for the anime-

and cartoon series on RTL II. Additionally, the website offers

the opportunity to participate in numerous prize competitions.

The launch of the new website will be promoted with numerous TV spots,

contests, print ads, and giveaways featuring the new

pokito.de logo. The online portal takes new approaches in terms of

user-friendliness: Pokito fans can reach their favorite shows

especially quickly and without detours, as the individual formats

are all displayed as image buttons in the upper

navigation of the website and can be accessed directly with a click. This way,

users, no matter which section of the website they are in,

always have the option to go straight to popular shows like

"Yu-Gi-Oh!" or "One Piece."

The concept and design of pokito.de were developed by Opium

Effect Munich. It is being implemented by RTL interactive.

The website is marketed by IP Newmedia.
