Ruri no Hōseki - Jewel of Lapis announces premiere in 2025 with new teaser image and promo video

The TV anime series "Ruri no Hōseki - Jewel of Lapis," based on the manga by Aya Hirakawa, is set to premiere in January 2025. This was announced today, September 16, during the "Aniplex Online Fest 2024," where the teaser promotional video and the first key visual were also revealed.

"Ruri no Hōseki - Jewel of Lapis" tells the story of Satsuki Amamiya, a high school student with a great passion for gemstones and accessories. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Nagi Arato, a dedicated graduate student specializing in mineralogy.

The anime is produced by Studio Bind, known for its work on "Mushoku Tensei - Jobless Reincarnation" and "Onii-chan wa Oshimai!" The creative team behind the series includes director Shingo Fujii, series composer Michiko Yokote, and character designer Mayu Fujii.

The main cast members are:

- Kyouri Nemoto as Ruri Tanigawa, the enthusiastic and curious protagonist.

- Masami Seto as Nagi Arato, the intelligent and dedicated mineralogist who becomes Satsuki's mentor and friend.

The first teaser introduces viewers to the vibrant world of "Ruri no Hōseki - Jewel of Lapis," showcasing Ruri and Nagi amidst beautiful natural landscapes and mineral formations.

"Ruri no Hōseki - Jewel of Lapis" is based on the manga by Aya Hirakawa, which has been serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat by Houbunsha since 2019. So far, ten volumes of the series have been released, with the eleventh volume scheduled for release on October 18.
