The television network Asahi and the studio LIDEN FILMS announced yesterday that they are producing a badminton sports anime titled Ryman's Club, set to premiere in January next year. Additionally, the main cast, staff, and a teaser promotional video (not available in the EU) were revealed.

The anime revolves around badminton players on a corporate team, featuring characters who work at a company during the day while also playing badminton. The story follows Mikoto Shiratori, a former child prodigy and badminton player who suffered a crushing defeat in high school and has not recovered since. As a result, he becomes an ordinary employee and joins his company's team.

The series is directed by Aya Yamauchi, with the script written by Teruko Utsumi, and character designs by Yasuda Suzuki.
