The TV anime adaptation of Yu Tomofuji's popular manga Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts (Niehime to Kemono no Ō) has released its third promotional video on the official website. The video features the opening song "Saku no Nie" (Sacrifice During the New Moon) by BIN and announces the anime's premiere on April 19 on Tokyo MX and BS11.



The cast includes Kana Hanazawa as Sariphi, Satoshi Hino as Leonhart, Yuka Nukui as Kuku (Cy), Natsumi Fujiwara as Lops (Clops), Takuma Terashima as Anubis, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Jormungand, Megumi Han as Amit, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Bennu, and Tasuku Hatanaka as Lanteveldt.

Chiaki Kon from J.C. Staff directs the anime, Seishi Minakami oversees the scripts, and Shinya Hasegawa designs the characters. Jin Aketagawa serves as the sound director, while Kohta Yamamoto composes the music. Pony Canyon produces the music, and WOWMAX produces the anime.

The ending theme "Only" is performed by the group GARNiDELiA. Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide, except in Asia.

The manga tells the story of a young girl who becomes the next sacrifice to the Beast King, only to discover that love is more than just appearances. The manga was serialized in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine starting in 2015 and concluded in October 2020.

A spin-off manga was released in Hana to Yume in August 2022, with a side story chapter published on April 26 in the sister magazine The Hana to Yume.
