The light novel series Saijaku Tamer wa Gomihiroi no Tabo o Hajimemashita is getting an anime adaptation, though no further details have been revealed, such as whether it will be a TV series or another format.
Honobonoru500 began publishing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō novel website in November 2018 and is still working on it. A year later, in November 2019, TO Books started printing the light novel series and has released 7 volumes so far, with illustrations by Nama.
Young Ivy cannot find peace. Although she has some memories of her past life, she was reborn in an RPG-like world in the weakest class and, even worse, with the lowest rank. As a starless Tamer, even her parents want nothing to do with her, and she soon realizes she is on her own. She learns to survive off the land and scavenge what she can from others' leftovers. But when Ivy manages to tame Sora, a lowly slime creature, everything changes for the two of them. This fragile little monster has something special about it, and Ivy’s care will bring out the best in both of them.
