The production for the anime adaptation of the light novel series "Saijo no Osewa: Takane no Hanadarake na Meimonkou de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojousama (Seikatsu Nouryoku Kaimu) wo Kagenagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita" has announced further details. Accordingly, voice actress and singer Ami Maeshima will take on the role of Asahi Karen – the lively classmate of protagonist Itsuki Tomonari and the female lead Hinako Konohana. Additionally, Maeshima contributes the ending theme and has written the lyrics for a title song collaboration for the first time.

The ending song is titled "Kanpeki Janai Watashi" ("I'm Not Perfect") and was composed and arranged by members of Elements Garden. Maeshima expressed her excitement: "While reading the source material, the many memorable dialogues of the characters immediately inspired me. I wrote and sang the lyrics full of love for the work. I hope that the delicate feelings of the 'high flowers' – the talented girls – resonate in the song."

The romantic comedy tells the story of Hinako Konohana, the daughter of one of Japan's largest conglomerates, who must outwardly play the perfect young lady but is in truth a completely incapable slacker. The average high school student Itsuki Tomonari is appointed as her secret caretaker. The series starts on July 4, 2026, on MBS (always Saturdays at 2:38 AM) as well as on TV Tokyo and BS Asahi.

Protagonist Itsuki is voiced by Yuuto Uemura, Hinako by Konomi Kohara. Other main roles are taken by Saori Oonishi as Mirei Tennouji, Rio Tsuchiya as Narika Miyakojima, Ami Koshimizu as Shizune Tsurumi, and Takehito Koyasu as Kagen Konohana. The opening title "Saisaisaikoukyuu no Osewa Shite" will be performed by the duo angela.

The animation studios Brain's Base are responsible for the production. Direction is by Shuusei Morishita, series composition by Aya Yoshinaga. Character design is by Hisashi Kawashima. The underlying light novel by Yuusaku Sakaishi (illustrations: Sakura Miwabe) is published by Hobby Japan, and a manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima runs on the Comic Fire platform.
