Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie Reveals New Trailer and More Details at AnimeJapan 2023

On the special stage of AnimeJapan 2023, the second trailer for "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie" was presented, giving fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated two-part anime adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi's "Shadow Galactica" arc from the original Sailor Moon manga.



In addition to the trailer, voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi announced that the first Sailor Moon TV series, SuperS and Sailor Stars, will be available for free streaming on the Toei Animation Museum's YouTube channel. The episodes will only be accessible for a period of two weeks, with the first SuperS episode premiering on March 27. The availability of these episodes outside Japan was not specified.

"Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie" will hit theaters on June 9 and June 30. The cast includes Saori Hayami as Taiki Kō/Sailor Star Maker, Marina Inoue as Seiya Kō/Sailor Star Fighter, Ayane Sakura as Yaten Kō, Nana Mizuki as Princess Kakyū, Megumi Hayashibara as Sailor Galaxia, and Kotono Mitsuishi as Chibi Chibi.

Directed by Tomoya Takahashi and produced by Toei Animation, the films promise an exciting and nostalgic experience for Sailor Moon fans. With a talented cast and crew on board, the adaptation of the final arc of the Sailor Moon manga is set to be a thrilling conclusion to the beloved series.
