The production of the "Light-Anime" project "Saioishi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimas!" has officially confirmed the central voice roles. The main character Alba is voiced by Ayumu Murase. The role of Orshis, his great admiration from a previous life, is taken on by Shouta Aoi.
The plot is based on the novel of the same name by Tenma Asahi, of which over 170,000 copies have been sold. It follows Alba, who is reborn as the son of an impoverished noble family. In his new existence, he becomes the stepbrother of the man he admired most in his previous existence. Although he is confronted with a complicated illness called Laonen disease and a short life expectancy, he finds fulfillment solely in the presence of his idol. The story describes his new life in another world.
The project is the first title of the "BALLOON" initiative, which is dedicated to the adaptation of boys-love works in this special anime format. A release is planned for January 2026.
Other responsible persons include director Yusuke Morishita and series composer Izumi Tezuka. The animation work is carried out by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio.
