"SAKAMOTO DAYS" announces new cast members

The TV anime adaptation of SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, has revealed new cast members and character visuals. Three new characters from the series were introduced, all of whom belong to the assassin organization ORDER, a group closely tied to the protagonist Sakamoto Taro during his time as a killer.

Nagumo, one of Sakamoto's former ORDER colleagues, is voiced by Natsuki Hanae. He is portrayed as a key figure within the team. Another member of ORDER, Kamihate, described as a calm and rational individual, is voiced by Taku Yashiro. The character Oba, who joined ORDER after Sakamoto's departure, is voiced by Saori Hayami, who brings a relaxed and easygoing personality to the role. The voice actors expressed their excitement for the series.

Alongside this announcement, a new promotional video featuring the characters' voices was released, offering a glimpse into their personalities and dynamics. The visuals of the ORDER members highlight their mysterious and dangerous aura.

The story of SAKAMOTO DAYS revolves around Taro Sakamoto, a legendary hitman who left the world of killing behind to live a peaceful life with his beloved family. However, his past catches up with him, forcing him and his companions to face new threats. The manga is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), with Volume 19 set to release on November 1. The anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.
