Sakamoto Days - Episode 3

Lu arrives late for work at Taro's shop, prompting Shin to reprimand her for her poor performance. He urges Taro to fire her, but Taro refuses and insists on focusing on the upcoming tasks. However, Shin and Lu notice that Taro is behaving strangely. The confusion clears when the real Taro appears and reveals that the supposed Taro is actually Nagumo, an old friend of Taro, in disguise.

Nagumo informs them that a bounty of one million yen will soon be placed on Taro’s head, which will attract the attention of assassins. As they process this news, a deliveryman named Pizza Nakajima arrives. Instead of delivering pizza, Nakajima pulls out two pizza cutters and threatens Nagumo. Before he can act, Nagumo skillfully overpowers him and chokes him. Taro stops Nagumo from killing Nakajima, prompting Nagumo to warn him about more assassins to come. Before disappearing with Nakajima, Nagumo admits that he doesn’t know who placed the bounty on Taro.

Meanwhile, a group called Dodenkai, which had previously been spying on Taro, expresses frustration over Nakajima’s failure. Their leader suggests attacking Taro at his most vulnerable moment and reveals that Taro was once a member of "The Order." However, Taro, aware of the surveillance, directly warns them by aiming his weapon at their camera and stating that he will retaliate if they continue to observe him.

Despite the looming threat, Taro decides to lay low for the time being. Just then, his wife Aoi and daughter Hana appear, reminding him of their planned trip to the amusement park Sugar Park. Later, the Sakamoto family visits the park together with Shin and Lu. During a roller coaster ride, Shin and Lu privately discuss their mission to protect the family. Shin explains his clairvoyant abilities, which allow him to read thoughts within a 30-meter radius. These abilities function like a radio frequency and require concentration. Suddenly, he senses the presence of an enemy—a janitor named Kurii. Before Kurii can act, Taro effortlessly knocks him unconscious.

While Shin and Lu deal with Kurii, Taro rejoins his family near the Sugar Park mascot, Sugar Bunny. Unbeknownst to them, a member of Dodenkai observes them from a distance, analyzing documents containing information about Taro and Shin. To bypass Shin’s clairvoyant abilities, the spy plans to suppress his murderous intent.

Later, during a ride on the "Turbo Teddy" roller coaster, Lu notices the suspicious man from earlier and warns Shin. Their suspicion is confirmed, and Shin attempts to free himself from the safety bar but struggles. Eventually, he uses a weapon to break free and confronts the enemy. The two leap from the roller coaster onto another track, fighting mid-air. The enemy poisons Shin with a kunai and takes advantage of his weakened state to criticize his weaknesses. Their battle briefly continues on a roller coaster car before Shin attacks the opponent, sending both crashing onto a nearby stage where a performance is taking place.

Seizing the opportunity, Shin disguises himself in a Sugar Bunny costume as the stage fills with smoke. When the smoke clears, they resume their fight in front of the audience. Due to the poison, Shin is weakened and relies on Taro’s telepathic guidance to land a decisive blow. With Taro’s help, Shin successfully defeats his opponent.

The episode ends with Taro and the crowd applauding Shin’s victory.
