This series is a remake of the original "Sake no Hosomichi" by Razuware Hosoki and will be featured in the July 26 issue of Weekly Manga Goraku, published by Nihon Bungeisha on July 12.
The original "Sake no Hosomichi," celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is a gourmet manga that follows the daily life of office worker SÅtatsu Iwama and his friends and colleagues, who share a passion for alcohol and appetizers. Boichi's remake, as a long-time fan of the original series, begins with a reinterpretation of the episode "Hatsu Mono!" from Volume 3, Chapter 7. "Sake no Hosomichi" has released 55 volumes so far, and a complete color edition, featuring only the episodes originally published in color, is also available.
