The manga "Sarariiman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi" by Benigashira and Muramitsu will be adapted into a TV anime in 2025. The first key visual and the first promo video have been released.

The story revolves around Denosuke Uchimura, an unremarkable office worker who is suddenly summoned to another world. There, he is recruited as one of the four generals of the Demon King. Uchimura uses his knowledge and experience from the business world to tackle dangerous tasks for his new boss, the Demon King. The manga is serialized in Comic Gardo, and the latest volume, Volume 9, will be released on July 25.

The key visual features Uchimura alongside Ulmander, one of the other generals, with the Demon King in the background. The promo video shows the Demon King delivering motivational words to Uchimura, who has lost his self-confidence due to the injustices of the real world. Ulmander's combative nature and Uchimura's newfound determination are also highlighted.

The main cast includes Yuuki Ono as Uchimura, Kozue Owara as Ulmander, and Akio Otsuka as the Demon King. The animation is produced by GEEKTOYS and CompTown, directed by Michio Fukuda. Yuko Fukuda is in charge of series composition, and Ayumi Nishibata is responsible for character design.

Benigashira, who works as an office employee while also being a manga author, said: "I hope this story gives courage and hope to those who, like me, work while pursuing their dreams." Muramitsu added: "The anime will reveal new facets of the characters that weren’t fully expressed in the manga."
