The fifth episode of "Sasaki and Peeps" quickly focuses on Sasaki and his partner Hoshizaki as they receive a new assignment involving a high school student from Saitama Prefecture who allegedly possesses supernatural abilities, particularly pyrokinesis.

Sasaki is confused because so much time has passed since he last visited the other world. He checks the logbook of activities in the other world and reflects on recent events there, including the resolution of a conflict and the granting of a title and responsibility by a kingdom. Back in their world, Hoshizaki and Sasaki set out to recruit the student, proceeding carefully to avoid putting too much stress on the young psychic.

Their investigation leads them to the student's school under the pretext of conducting an evaluation. They observe the boy being bullied and decide to approach him when he's alone to protect his dignity and self-esteem. In a surprising twist, Hoshizaki decides to make first contact herself and tasks Sasaki with writing a report in the meantime.

While taking a break at a café, Sasaki unwillingly witnesses a tense interaction between Hoshizaki, the high school student, and a group of criminals. The situation escalates quickly, revealing not only the student's psychic powers but also the presence of a girl named Magical Pink, who claims it is her duty to eliminate supernatural abilities.

Amid the spreading chaos, another psychic, Shizuka—known for her distinctive purple kimono—intervenes to help. The episode takes a dark turn as Magical Pink reveals her tragic motives for hunting psychics, whom she blames for the deaths of her family and friends.

The episode ends with Sasaki exploiting a misunderstanding to defuse the situation by pretending to be a "magic man" to connect with Magical Pink and prevent further violence.
