The production of a second season of the anime series "Sasaki to Pii-chan" has been officially confirmed. The broadcast is planned for the year 2026. Accompanying this announcement, a new official key visual was released.

The series tells the story of the middle-aged office worker Sasaki, who buys a bird for relaxation. It turns out that this bird is the reincarnation of a sage from another world named Piercarlo. The new image shows Sasaki and his bird together with the neighbors, Hoshizaki, Futari Shizuka and Elza.

The author of the original novel, Buncololi, has issued a statement regarding the project. In it, he expresses his gratitude towards the voice actors and hints that the plot in the second season will proceed even more ambitiously.

Likewise, a comment from Puraji Oshō, who is responsible for the manga adaptation of the series, is available. The illustrator expressed his anticipation for the continuation of the story and reaffirmed his commitment to continue implementing the appeal of the work in his art.
