Scott Pilgrim anime series is slated to launch on Netflix in November

Netflix recently offered a glimpse at the upcoming anime adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's famous "Scott Pilgrim" graphic novel series. This teaser announced that viewers can expect the series to premiere on November 17.



The cast list for the series has been confirmed, with many familiar names from the 2010 live-action adaptation "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" reprising their roles:

O'Malley will both write the storyline and serve as executive producer for this project. BenDavid Grabinski, who is working closely with O'Malley, will produce the series as co-showrunner. The animation will be handled by the Japanese studio Science SARU, with Eunyoung Choi as producer and Abel Góngora as director.

The story of "Scott Pilgrim" revolves around the life of a young musician in Toronto. Scott struggles with the challenges of holding down a steady job, keeping his apartment, and nurturing a budding romance—all while confronting the seven ex-partners of his newfound love.
