The TV anime series "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" has officially confirmed the production of a second season. This announcement comes alongside the release of a special preview video showcasing the upcoming developments of the series.

The final episode of the first season, titled "Looking Forward," aired on September 18, concluding the initial story where the protagonist faces various challenges. Building on the success of the first season, Season 2 will continue the story from Volume 4 of the original novel series by San-san SUN. The creator expressed gratitude to the fans, stating: "Thanks to everyone's support, Roshidere will live on beyond Volume 4! I'm thrilled! In Volume 4, there's a summer vacation where our heroines participate in many events in lighter clothing! And after the summer break... what happens next?"

To celebrate the upcoming season, original illustrator Momoko and manga adaptation artist Saho Tenamachi have released special congratulatory illustrations. Additionally, artists from Umibozu, Sune, Banishment from FLAT STUDIO, Twinbox, Aono Yuka, Oryo, Tenmaso, Manyako, Yohei Yasumura, Sakura Hiyori, Kitsune In, and Fuku Kitsune have contributed a series of illustrations.
